FYJC ADMISSION PROCEDURES
As per the directives of Government of Maharashtra ADMISSIONS to Class XI are ‘ONLINE’ since 2009. Eligible students are required to register himself/herself for ONLINE admission. Government authorities allot the college to students. Once the college is allotted the student is required to take admission within three days in the allotted college. If students fails he/she will be thrown out of admission process. Other details of admission are given in the online booklet issued by Government of Maharashtra. The admission procedures will be started in the month of May 2014.
ELIGIBILITY:
1.
Any student who has passed the S.S.C. (Std.X) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board is eligible to the F.Y.J.C. (Std XI) class.
2.
A student who has passed an examination other than that conducted by the Maharashtra State Board will be admitted provisionally by the college. However, such students will have to obtain “Eligibility Certificate” from the Divisional Secretary, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and submit it to the college office.
Documents to be submitted along with Application form for Admission:
A.
Original Marksheet along with two attested xerox copies of the qualifying examination.
B.
Original School Leaving Certificate with one attested xerox copy.
C.
Original Caste Certificate along with one attested xerox copy if admission is being sought against particular category.
D.
Original copies of necessary proof along with one xerox copy in case of any other reserved category such as freedom fighters (soldiers), Govt. job transfers, ex-servicemen, handicapped etc.
E.
Students belonging to reserve category and are seeking admission must produce scholarship form along with caste certificate issued by the competent authority of the Govt. of Maharashtra, failing which, their claim for admission will not be entertained under the specified category. In case of the student migrating from other States/ Boards-claiming admission they will be given only if they submit Caste Validating Certificate from the Competent Authority of Maharashtra State.
